For several years, I sent out a blog to readers a few times a week. These posts gave pointers about how to practice, shared relevant stories, and provided a way for people to connect with my coaching approach. In 2022, I wrote my book, Before You Say Anything, which brought many of these ideas together in one place. The blog posts have continued to resonate with clients and readers, and they're useful as a quick reminder, so I'm including them here!

Last week I got to spend some time with Trey Scott, the founder of WatchPitch. His work brings entrepreneurs with great ideas together with investors, so he’s kind of a matchmaker.

Trey invited me to come and speak with him about my book, Before You Say Anything: How to Have Better Conversations, Love Public Speaking, and Finally Know What to Do with Your Hands. Our interview was a ton of fun, and we got to do it in my home-away-from-home, North Carolina Stage Company.
